Last week, Samsung released a software update to the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra that brought the February 2026 security patch. However, the brand has released it only in Korea. Now, the company is rolling out in more regions.
Samsung has released the February 2026 security patch for the Galaxy S24 series in Europe and the UAE. The update is 466.29MB in size and carries firmware version S928BXXS5CZB2 (via Tarun Vats). It addresses 37 security issues.
To get it, go to Settings > Software update > Download and install. We will soon make the latest firmware files available in our database. You can download it from there and install it using Samsung's Odin tool, in case you are facing issues with the OTA update method.
Samsung is expected to soon start rolling out One UI 8.5 to eligible Galaxy smartphones. It brings a new UI and many new features. The Galaxy S24 series is eligible to get it. In the meantime, you can check out our video below where we check out the Galaxy S26 Ultra.
