One of Samsung’s Galaxy A-series smartphones from last year, the Galaxy A34, is getting a new software update. It brings the February 2025 security patch, which fixes a lot of security issues, making the device more secure than before.
Currently, Samsung is rolling out the update to the variant of the Galaxy A34 that it sells in Europe. It has the model number SM-A346B. The update carries firmware version A346BXXS9CYA1.
At the moment, the latest update is live in many countries in the region, including France, Croatia, Italy, Serbia, Poland, Austria, Slovenia, the United Kingdom, Czech Republic, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, Ireland, and Portugal.
There are two ways to get it. First, go to Settings » Software update > Download and install. Second, download the firmware from our database (or any other website) and install it using Odin.
Samsung should release the February 2025 security patch to other variants of the Galaxy A34 in the next few days. It should also start releasing the Android 15-based One UI 7.0 update to eligible phones, including Galaxy A34, very soon.
