A new report shows that Samsung isn't done with UI changes. An upcoming version of the One UI 5.0 beta update might bring a slightly tweaked call screen. The South Korean firm published a poll, asking testers to choose between two different UI designs for the call screen. One version fills the screen entirely with colorful hues, while the other has some whitespace left.
The background color matches the primary color present in the caller's picture. We are unsure which color would appear if the contact doesn't have an associated image or if the call is from an unsaved number. The company will likely implement one of these two designs with an upcoming version of the One UI 5.0 beta update.
Samsung will likely keep adding some new features and tweaking the design of a few elements until the stable version of Android 13-based One UI 5.0 is released sometime towards the end of Q3 2022.
