While the previous Android 12 Beta 4 update was considered to be the last beta update before the rollout of the stable version, Google thought of pushing a minor update to fix the pertaining issues.
Android 13 Beta 4.1 update brings fixes for an issue that prevented apps from enabling or disabling Bluetooth. It also brings bug fixes for an issue that caused the device to crash and reboot when connecting to Wi-Fi. Furthermore, the update also addresses the Meet connectivity dropping issue while driving, and the system incorrectly interpreting GPS data problems.
The new Android 13 Beta 4.1 is meant for Pixel devices. Google directly releases Android beta builds for its Pixel smartphones. Samsung devices don't get these builds. However, Samsung is close to launching its Android 13 One UI 5.0 beta program.
Samsung could release the stable Android 13 update after four or five beta updates. Reports suggest that it will happen by October this year. Along with the Android 13 features, Samsung users will get to experience some extra features of One UI 5.0. You can check out the list of Samsung Galaxy devices eligible to receive the Android 13 One UI 5.0 update here.
