Samsung has been on a roll today. After releasing new updates to the Galaxy Note 9, Galaxy S21, Galaxy Z Flip, and a few mid-range phones, the company has started rolling out the February 2022 security update to the Galaxy S20 FE and the Galaxy Z Flip 5G in the US.

The Galaxy S20 FE 5G's unlocked variant is getting the new software update with firmware version G781U1UES6EVB1 in the US. The update is available on almost all US carrier networks, including AT&T, Bluegrass Cellular, Cellular South, Comcast, C-Spire, T-Mobile, Verizon, and Xfinity Mobile.

The carrier-locked version of the Galaxy Z Flip 5G is getting the new update with firmware version F707USQS2EVB1. This update is available on Sprint and T-Mobile's networks in the US.

The South Korean firm says that the February 2022 security patch fixes more than 60 user privacy and data security vulnerabilities. If you are a Galaxy S20 FE 5G or Galaxy Z Flip 5G user in the US, you can now check for the new update by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping on Download and install.

You can also download the latest firmware file from our firmware database and flash it manually if you're well-versed with the manual firmware flashing process. If you choose this process, you need to back up your data from your smartphone.
