Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra is another step closer to launch with FCC certification

Samsung is all set to unveil its trio of Galaxy Tab S8 tablets alongside the Galaxy S22 series at Galaxy Unpacked. The Galaxy Tab  S8 Ultra, in particular, stands out due to its superlative specifications and questionable notch on the screen, as confirmed by Samsung's own marketing material. Now, the tablet has been certified by the FCC, indicating that it is ready for launch in the United States.

The Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra is confirmed to support Wi-Fi 6E

The Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra United States variant bears model number SM-X900 with FCC ID A3LSMX900. The actual listing doesn't tell us much about the tablet but essentially confirms that it will support Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth LE out of the box. The latter could help bring the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra's S Pen up to speed with the Galaxy S22 Ultra and older Galaxy Note devices.

Like its predecessors, the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra will be able to wirelessly charge the S Pen via the included silo at the back. The remaining information contained within the FCC listing is regulatory speak and means little to average people. You can dig through it at your own leisure here.
