Samsung has released the March 2024 security update to two more entry-level Galaxy smartphones: Galaxy A04e and Galaxy A13 5G. The two phones are getting the new update in several parts of Asia and Europe. Other high-end phones like the Galaxy S23, Galaxy Z Flip 5, and Galaxy Z Fold 5 are getting the One UI 6.1 update instead.
Galaxy A04e and Galaxy A13 5G get more security with March 2024 update
The latest software update for the Galaxy A04e is out with firmware version A042FXXS6DXC4. It is available in Afghanistan, Caucasus countries, Egypt, Fiji, Indonesia, Iraq, Israel, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Lebanon, Morocco, New Zealand, Nigeria, Pakistan, Papua New Guinea, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Thailand, the Philippines, the UAE, Tunisia, Turkey, Ukraine, and Vietnam.
The new update for the Galaxy A13 5G is rolling out with firmware version A136BXXS6DXC3 in Austria, Croatia, Egypt, France, Iraq, Ireland, Italy, Poland, Portugal, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Slovenia, Switzerland, the Czech Republic, and the UK. You can install the new update on your device by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping Download and install. You can also download the new firmware file from our database and flash it manually.
These updates include fixes for 44 security vulnerabilities as a part of the March 2024 security patch. Apart from security patches, these updates don't bring any new features or performance enhancements. Both phones are already running Android 14-based One UI 6.0 software and they will get the One UI 6.1 update before the end of the first half of this year.
