Samsung India officials also revealed that locally manufactured units of the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra will be sold in India and exported to other countries. Samsung India CEO JB Park said, “This is a device of the future. While the world talks about AI as the next big thing, the Galaxy S24 series brings it live to you. I am very happy to announce that Galaxy S24 series will be manufactured at our Noida factory in India.”
The price of the Galaxy S24 starts at INR 89,999, while the Galaxy S24+ and the Galaxy S24 Ultra start at INR 99,999 and INR 1,29,999, respectively. The Galaxy S24 and the Galaxy S24+ are available in 256GB and 512GB versions in India. The Galaxy S24 Ultra is being sold in 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB versions. However, the 1TB version of the device will be available only through Samsung's own website.
The Galaxy S24 is available in Amber Yellow, Cobalt Violet, and Onyx Black colors. The Galaxy S24+ is sold in Cobalt Violet and Onyx Black colors. The Galaxy S24 Ultra is available in Titanium Black, Titanium Gray, and Titanium Violet colors through all authorized offline and online retailers in India. These phones also have additional color options, but they are only available through Samsung India's website.
Samsung has been trying to sell more premium phones to increase its profit margins. According to Counterpoint Research, Samsung has a 27% market share in India's premium smartphone market. The South Korean firm is confident that it can increase its market share in the premium category with the help of the Galaxy S23 series and by offering more ecosystem features and attractive offers during the pre-order period.
