Samsung has finally launched the S Pen Creator Edition in the US. It is a slightly premium version of the S Pen that comes bundled with the company's tablets and has a more comfortable design. The S Pen Creator Edition was announced during the launch of the Galaxy Tab S9 series in July 2023 and was launched in South Korea last month.

The S Pen Creator Edition (EJ-P5600) is priced at $99.99 in the US, and it is available for purchase through Amazon, Best Buy, Samsung.com, and other authorized retailers. It is created with drawing and writing in mind, so it features a bigger size and a more comfortable grip. Its nib also fits more seamlessly with the body. It has a dedicated button to activate some software features, like changing the pen style. It is available only in the white color, though.

In comparison, the S Pen that comes bundled with Galaxy Tab S9 series devices costs $60. While it also features tilt sensitivity like the regular S Pen, it doesn't feature Bluetooth or a built-in battery, so Air Commands don't work. However, it does snap onto the back or side of the tablet for easier storage.

The S Pen Creator Edition is compatible with the Galaxy Tab S9, Galaxy Tab S9 FE, and previous-generation Galaxy Tab S series devices that come bundled with an S Pen. It also features an IPX4 rating for water resistance. In comparison, the S Pen that comes bundled with the Galaxy Tab S9 and the Galaxy Tab S9 FE has an IPX8 rating for better resistance against water.
