Forget the iPhone 15 Pro Max, keep it cool with the Galaxy S23 Ultra

Apple's iPhone 15 is taking up all the headlines these days, and it's not all for the right reasons. The iPhone 15 lineup brings plenty of upgrades over the iPhone 14, including a powerful new chip for the Pro and Pro Max models.

But with more power comes, well, more heat, and that heat has to go somewhere. Unfortunately for Apple, all that heat seems to be pooling up inside the new iPhones and isn't being cooled well enough. Early iPhone 15 adopters complain of overheating when charging or even when doing something like scrolling through Instagram reels for long periods of time.

The overheating seems to be severe, with users saying the phone becomes extremely uncomfortable to hold. The issue is affecting both the small and large iPhone 15 models, and Apple has yet to comment on the matter.

But hey, why wait for Apple's response when you have a perfectly good alternative in the Galaxy S23 Ultra? Samsung's top-of-the-line flagship has everything you need to get an amazing smartphone experience, including a camera setup that is more versatile than what you get on even the best iPhone 15 model (the Pro Max), up to two days of battery life, and fast performance that doesn't come with a side order of sizzle.

Tests have shown that despite featuring an older chip, the Galaxy S23 Ultra's GPU performance is higher than that of the iPhone 15 Pro Max and, thanks to better cooling, that performance doesn't dip nearly as quickly as it does on Apple's flagship. It certainly doesn't lose its cool when doing something as mundane as watching reels, so all those cute little dog and cat videos that you spend your day scrolling through will only make your eyes melt instead of your hands.

The Galaxy S23 Ultra is essentially a better phone in many respects despite being more than six months older, and the best part is that Samsung is currently offering excellent discounts on the phone. You can get up to $750 in trade-in credit when purchasing any storage variant of the Galaxy S23 Ultra (it comes in 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB configurations), so don't let the deal slip away and hit the buy button down below to pick up 2023's best high-end phone today!

PUBG getting 120 fps support on Galaxy S24, S23, and Z Fold 5!

Smartphone GPUs have become insanely powerful over the last few years, but there's no denying the fact that a lot of that power goes to waste when it comes to mobile games. Game developers also don't take advantage of features such as high refresh rate displays. 120Hz displays are quite common on smartphones these days, but […]
