The Galaxy Tab A9 and the Galaxy Tab A9+ have appeared in the NBTC certification database (via MySmartPrice). The Galaxy Tab A9 carries model number SM-X115, while the Galaxy Tab A9+ has model number SM-X216B. Looking at the model numbers, the Galaxy Tab A9 may only come with Wi-Fi-only and Wi-Fi+4G connectivity, while the Galaxy Tab A9+ will be available in Wi-Fi-only and Wi-Fi+5G connectivity options. Earlier, the Wi-Fi-only version of the Galaxy Tab A9+ was leaked with model number SM-X210.
Going by previous reports, the Galaxy Tab A9 measures 210.7mm tall and 124.7mm wide, which means it could have an 8.7-inch screen. It has a single rear camera, Android 13, stereo speakers, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.3, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It also features a 5,000mAh battery and 15W fast charging.
The Galaxy Tab A9+, which measures 246.8 x 161.9 x 6.9mm, has a 10.5-inch screen and a quad-speaker setup. It uses the Snapdragon 695 processor, 4GB/8GB RAM, and runs Android 13 out of the box. It has Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.3, a USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It is powered by a 7,040mAh battery and supports 15W fast charging. Both tablets could feature a microSD card slot for storage expansion. Samsung could launch both tablets before the end of this year.
