Xiaomi has announced that its upcoming higher mid-range smartphone, the Redmi Note 13 Pro+, will feature a 200MP camera sensor from Samsung. The upcoming smartphone will use the ISOCELL HP3 sensor unveiled last year as the company's second 200MP camera sensor. More and more Chinese firms, including Infinix, Honor, and Motorola, are now using Samsung's 200MP camera sensors in their phones.

The Redmi Note 13 Pro+ will be launched later this month in China, and one of its attractive features includes a 200MP primary camera sensor. It is the ISOCELL HP3 with a 1/1.4-inch camera sensor size and 0.56μm native pixel size. It can capture 14-bit images for a higher dynamic range and Super QPD autofocus for a more reliable focusing mechanism. If you can remember, Xiaomi has also used the same camera sensor in the 12T Pro.

It can also record 4K 120fps and 8K 30fps videos, but the Redmi Note 13 Pro+, being a mid-range phone, doesn't have a chipset capable of recording 4K 120fps or 8K 30fps videos. The other Redmi Note 13 Pro+ cameras include an 8MP ultrawide camera and a 2MP macro camera.

It has also been revealed that the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ uses the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Ultra processor. It is a 4nm chipset with two ARM Cortex-A715 CPU cores clocked at 2.8GHz, six ARM Cortex-A510 CPU cores, and the Mali-G610 MC4 GPU. Other smartphone features include a 6.67-inch OLED screen with 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate.

The smartphone is rumored to have a 5,000mAh battery with 120W fast charging. The phone could also feature an in-display fingerprint reader, GPS, 5G, dual-SIM card slot, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, and a USB Type-C port.
