With the release of the S9 series, Samsung's Galaxy Tab gained a few exciting upgrades, from an IP68 rating (making it the first non-rugged Samsung tablet to have dust and water resistance) to an AMOLED display for the base model and Vision Booster technology for vivid and clear image reproduction even in bright lighting conditions. But regardless of how the Galaxy Tab S9 series evolved, one thing that hasn't changed is the tablet's capability to unlock powerful tools for creators.

To get that point across as best as possible, Samsung partnered with Korean webcomic creator Taejun Pak to demonstrate the power of the top-tier tablet variant – the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra. Taejun Pak, whose webtoon series LOOKISM is the first Korean webcomic to be adapted into a Netflix animated series, showcased all the creative tools in a new video.

Samsung revealed that Taejun held two master classes at Galaxy Unpacked, teaching aspiring artists how to get the best out of their tablets, the S Pen Creator Edition, and the Clip Studio Paint app that ships with the Galaxy Tab S9. Taejun taught participants how to create comic versions of themselves using their selfies.

Galaxy Tab S9 series is the best Android has to offer

No matter which Galaxy Tab S9 variant you look at, it offers a fantastic stylus experience thanks to the iconic S Pen with low latency and the vivid Dynamic AMOLED 2X 120Hz display that offers HDR10+ support. This year, even the base model left LCD technology behind in favor of AMOLED.

    Story continues after the video

All three Tab S9 variants are powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 “for Galaxy” chip and have stereo speakers, 45W charging, under-display fingerprint scanners, a durable aluminum IP68-rated build, and access to powerful productivity tools such as Samsung DeX.

The latest Samsung tablets also ship with One UI 5.1.1, which fills the gap between One UI 5.0 and the upcoming One UI 6.0 update. Version 5.1.1 is all about improving the user experience on foldable and large-screen devices, and thanks to it, the Galaxy Tab S9 series benefits from better Multi-Window and Pop-up Window features and a more powerful taskbar.
