Samsung is in the process of bringing One UI 3.0 to more existing Galaxy smartphone models but the company also has a newer version, One UI 3.1, baking in the oven specifically for the upcoming Galaxy S21 series. You're probably well aware of this but, even so, we haven't seen One UI 3.1 in action first-hand yet and given the intensity of leaks in recent weeks, you may have missed out on some of the upcoming features.

If you're looking for a more complete overview of One UI 3.1 and the new features it brings before January 14 – who isn't? – then this new YouTube video posted by Jimmy is Promo today might do the trick. It previews features such as call background video, the ability to use Google Discover instead of Samsung Free and more.

Focus enhancer and simultaneous rear/front video recording

A few camera features added with One UI 3.1 are also briefly showcased in the video. There's a new Focus enhancer, though it's unclear whether this will be available across the entire Galaxy S21 range or if it will be reserved for the Galaxy S21 Ultra since it's the only model of the three to boast laser autofocus.

In addition, the video also reveals a new features that lets users record videos with the rear and front-facing cameras simultaneously. You may have heard of this addition before but now you can see it in action.

The existing blue light filter also appears to have been overhauled, or at least renamed and given a couple more features. It's now called Eye comfort shield and it lets you choose between adaptive and custom blue light dimming. Check the full video below for a more complete preview of One UI 3.1.
