[Poll Results!] Which Galaxy Note 10 feature are you looking forward to the most?

We have now started counting down the days until August 7 when Samsung will take to the stage in New York City to unveil the Galaxy Note 10. It has confirmed an Unpacked event for that day and the teaser more or less confirms we’re in store for a new Galaxy Note.

There have been quite a few rumors and leaks about this device so far. We were one of the first to confirm that there will be two separate models of the Galaxy Note 10 this year. According to some reports, the handsets will be called the Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Note 10+.

It appears that Samsung may make some changes that prevent a few Note fans from taking the plunge. There’s talk of the 3.5mm headphone jack being removed and even the microSD card slot being limited only to the larger model. These decisions would certainly be polarizing. However, I’m sure we can find common ground on the new features that almost everyone will appreciate.

It was reported not too long ago that the Galaxy Note 10 might feature a three-stage variable aperture camera. This would, at least in theory, greatly improve the device’s imaging prowess. The addition of f/1.8 aperture would allow the device to do a much better job with intermediate scenes where it’s neither too dark nor too bright. That’s one thing I’m particularly quite excited to see on the device.

So what is the Galaxy Note 10 feature that you’re looking forward to the most? Is it going to be the larger display or the significantly improved camera? Or perhaps you’d much prefer the 4,500mAh battery on the larger model?

There have even been rumors of 45W fast charging which would be the first for a Samsung device. Just how much of what has been rumored about this device becomes true remains to be seen. Nonetheless, there’s a lot of excitement among fans for the new flagship. Vote below and share your thoughts with us in the comments section.

Results: We have to say the results for this poll haven’t surprised us: Most voters are looking forward to battery-related features. 31 percent of voters say they are looking forward to 45W fast charging and 30 percent said they would like a 4,500 mAh battery. Camera enthusiasts came next: 23 percent said they’d like a camera with three-stage variable aperture. The remaining 16 percent voted for a 6.7-inch display.

I’m surprised nobody has mentioned the fact that we’re commenting on a poll post and the most important features aren’t part of the pole. I’m actually glad they’re making at least two separate Notes this year, but I still don’t think they’re hitting the mark. As far as this pole is concerned, why are we talking about camera and screen size? The main feature of the Note was always screen size. But, it’s supposed to be the ultimate utility device. And this pole only compares battery, screen size, and camera. Shouldn’t this pole be reserved for the S11 (or any… Read more »

A long time Mac user (15+ years) once told me that with every new update, Apple tries their best to make the OS idiot proof. Every time this happens the Os becomes a hassle to use and the so called new features are simply eye candy which hampers productivity. Sadly this is what happening to my most favouritest tech company – Samsung. With all the advances in tech and AI algorithms over the last couple of years, I was honestly disappointed that one of the best features Samsung could come up with for the Note 9 was a gimmick called… Read more »

Uff, at least for me all the aforementioned additions altogether are not enough to justify the removal of headphone jack and micro SD slot. Samsung you destroyed my faith, I feel sad:(

This poll just makes me think the Note9 is a better phone. The few benefits are greatly outweighed for what might potentially be missing. However, I still believe there’s a lot of bullcrap here. Right up to a couple of weeks before the release date, the S10 definitely had no headphone jack.

Note 9 have big bezels. Note 10 almost don’t have bezels.

The Note9 bezels are just a few millimetres top and bottom, not big at all. Plus it’s something to hold on to and not cover the screen with fingers or hand while watching a video. I was thinking who would make such a stupid comment about bezels being BIG on the Note9, but then realised it was you, the village idiot. 😉

But it is true that Note 10 will have smaller bezels than Note 9 !

There’s not much to look forward to if the rumours are true. I have S9 plus but I’m looking at my colleagues Note9 with its full uninterrupted screen, headphone jack, Micro SD slot, he has the 512gb version with a 512gb card in it, very good cameras, all day battery life at least and I would ask, why take a huge step backwards with a Note10? When charging overnight, what good is 45w charging that just wears out the battery faster? Even an extra 500mah, you’ll still be giving it a full charge before going out in the morning anyway.… Read more »

You guys still haven’t reported a new feature that came with QR Scanner update… They have brought the ability to scan a QR Code in WiFi settings so you can easily let guests connect to your WiFi. I can’t remember if this was a Pie or Q update announced my Google, but it’s proper useful addition to have!

Haven’t heard about that either, but if it’s on Q there’s no point in talking about it at this stage. The phones will be still on P for the next 5 or 6 months. I can’t see that option on my S9 plus. Maybe it’s there, but I can’t find it.

At this point, no news source has any valid proof of the true features and takeaways.

That’s very true, and I hope for Note users some of these rumours are not true.

Internet is international. So Yo hablo el idioma que me de las gana! Pinche pendejo! But agreed removable batt., audio jack, and sd card slot. Like to have the option to remove the batt and replace with charged batt. Audio jack as BU to Bluetooth headset. And sd card to keep sensitive data safe incase phone failure…… This is a Samsung! While I understand this will make it more difficult to waterproof and increase cost.

Hope they will support the type-c and 3.5 jack adapter so I can use my earphone while charging my phone
