I only use voice commands when I need hands free use. I have no need for the AI Bloat…

S Voice is pure garbage on my S7E, hardly ever works for me, and I speak English. Maybe if I spoke Korean it would work. I’ll stick to Google in the mean time.

I had a problem of svoice activating on its one when the always on mode was activated and sometimes it got me into trouble while I was in a conference or in a meeting so if bixby doesn’t give think kind of a problem sure I would think of using it

It sounds good but unfortunately it needs a good internet connection to work and it doesn’t support a lot of native languages.
I was trying S-voice and it became better in last releases but it supports only few languages too and doesn’t work off-line.

p.s.
I’m a fen of “note” and I’m waiting to see the “real Note” (16:10) – probably updated “note edge” or even “Note 1”

Honestly, I think Samsung should have worked with Google and used their assistant. S Voice is garbage and I can’t imagine Bixby being much better

I don’t know, I feel like a right pillock speaking to my phone out in public, especially if it doesn’t register your command properly and its embarrassing! The fact that voice assistants need commands shows the tech isn’t really ready yet. the AI needs to be able to find a command in my sentence and act accordingly, not just wait for a command and respond accordingly. there’s a big difference.
Like I cannot tell the Google assistant to remind me to take my medication every morning. it doesn’t understand that. Cortana is supposed to be very good but not used it.

If its anything like S Voice it will be absolutely useless, i use Google whenever possible, very annoying Samsung do not allow you to make it the default.

I generally turn off SVoice and use Ok Google. If Bixby can tie into my Google accounts and programs, then i’m in!

I am really excited, because it is rumored to be much more advanced than anything else on the market! Also, I use voice search on my phone/ tablet all the time. Bixby would surely be a better alternative than just the voice-search function on my old phone.

never used, because it feels stupid talk in English on the street to give commands to the phone or in home.it is suppose to make it easy to use the phone ,not to demand that people that dont find useful to speak English start now,to use an assistant.

I’m not SUPER excited, but I want to see how much better it is compared to other voice controls. 🙂

I use google’s voice assistant all the time as it’s the most accurate. I find it hard to believe this new assistant would be any better.
