Galaxy S6 edge+ in Europe now receiving October security patch
Following its rollout for the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge in Europe two weeks ago, Samsung is now in the midst of distributing this month’s security release for the Galaxy S6 edge+ in the region. The upgrade — firmware version XXU3BPJ3 — transports patches for a total of 68 Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE) in the Android OS and 7 dedicated fixes for the firm’s latest smartphones.
As we’ve come to expect from all Security Maintenance Releases (SMR), the update is being pushed out in stages — so don’t worry if you haven’t received a notification just yet prompting you to install the release. That being said, if you own a Galaxy S6 edge+, reside in Europe and would like to see if the OTA is ready for your unit, head into Settings » About Device » Download Updates Manually.

What about s7 and s7 edge in Europe?
Still September security patch for the Swedish flat S6.
Yeah, a few days ago how my S6 edge+ got the update with updates to the night clock, and Gallery app, including Samsung Cloud.
EDIT: Samsung Cloud available in back up restore settings. 15GB with some unlimited back up options.
Just got it on my S6 BTU. Keep it up Samsung.
I still haven’t received the October patch for S7 Edge in the UK, in fact, I had to download and flash the September patch manually with Odin too.
Was not released in UK yet. Same as mine, s7 edge in UK and no update. Anyway, waiting for 7.0
Note5 too. A week ago. Comes with the new Gallery, Scrapbook and Samsung Cloud via the new Gallery app.
For S6 (EU) October Patch is also out
S7 Edge in UK and still nothing.
In singapore our S7 and S7 Edge still stuck with August security patch, Samsung slow in update for different region.
