Why Samsung needs to release a Galaxy Z Flip 4 BTS Edition

The Galaxy Z Flip 3 is a somewhat unsung hero of the foldable market. Don't get us wrong; it's not like people don't know about it. The Z Flip 3 is the best-selling foldable phone of all time, and many people are aware of it. However, it probably doesn't get the high praise and attention it deserves for its achievements. And perhaps Samsung needs to do something extra special for the Galaxy Z Flip 4 to turn it into a true pop phenomenon. It might need another BTS collab.

Samsung continues to put the Galaxy Z Flip 3 on the map through interesting partnerships and collaboration. Ever since the company unveiled the phone in August last year, it wanted to make a long-lasting impression and a fashion statement.

With a colorful goal in mind, Samsung went on to unveil the Galaxy Z Flip 3 Bespoke Edition as its first (and only) smartphone offered in a staggering 49 color combinations.

Later, the company also launched an Olympic Games Edition in January. And more recently, Samsung announced the limited-edition Galaxy Z Flip 3 Pokemon Edition in South Korea. Next, it might be time for the world's largest foldable smartphone maker to take it up a notch.

The Galaxy Z Flip 4 could benefit greatly from BTS support and ARMY

BTS is one of the most influential music groups in the world. How influential? Well, the Korean boy band has enough fans to make a noticeable difference in Samsung's smartphones sales. Or, at the very least, you could say that every other major collaboration Samsung has had with BTS became viral, and in turn, that energy became smartphone sales.

With that in mind, BTS might hold the key to making foldable phones extra popular. The Galaxy Z Flip 4 would be the perfect device for a new BTS collaboration. The foldable device series has come a long way since its inception. It deserves more recognition, and we suspect that BTS could help cement the Galaxy Z Flip's reputation as something more than an interesting experiment.

More important, for Samsung and the foldable market as a whole, a Galaxy Z Flip 4 BTS Edition may have the power to convince a lot of younger people to abandon rigid phones and try out foldable devices for the first time. Samsung's brand recognition level in the foldable segment could skyrocket in the long run.

Samsung should unveil the Galaxy Z Flip 4 at its next major Galaxy Unpacked yearly event in August-September. We'll keep you updated with any future developments and possible news of a special edition device. Stay tuned.
