The Galaxy S23 features that friends of SamMobile love!

The Galaxy S23 series is one of the best, if not the best, flagship Samsung released in recent times. Samsung fans seem to love these three new high-end phones released in early 2023 for the new features they bring and existing ones alike.

The Galaxy S23 shines thanks to a mix of tested and brand-new features, as they all seem to come together in harmony to create something great. The new Samsung flagships seem to strike the perfect balance between familiarity and freshness. They have elegant designs and don't go overboard or try to oversell features that don't make a lot of practical sense in the real world.

It may not be easy to pinpoint exactly why the Galaxy S23 is beloved, but that may be because there's not one reason alone contributing to the series' image of success, but many.

This has inspired us to ask Samsung fans and SamMobile friends to share what they believe the best Galaxy S23 features are. Unsurprisingly, we've received mixed responses that address numerous software and hardware benefits. Here's what the people think.

This report is based on feedback from Samsung fans and SamMobile friends on Slack.

What makes the Galaxy S23 great, according to fans?

The most common praise is the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 “for Galaxy” chipset. Although it is manufactured by TSMC rather than Samsung's foundry, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 “for Galaxy” was optimized for the Galaxy S23 series, and it boasts higher clock rates for the primary CPU core and the GPU.

This highly optimized experience, combined with the fact that everyone got the Snapdragon chip and not an Exynos SoC, regardless of where they bought the Galaxy S23, makes the 2023 flagship more special than previous models and a go-to solution for fans in Exynos markets that always wanted to put Qualcomm to the test.

Another common thread is the photography experience enabled by the 2023 flagship phones. The new 200MP ISOCELL HP2 sensor employed by the Galaxy S23 Ultra was received very well by the community, but so were the other cameras. In general, the Galaxy S23 series camera system offers great zoom capabilities and fantastic performance at nighttime and in low light conditions. Post-processing is solid, especially after the recent camera updates released in April.

The gorgeous Super AMOLED display with 120Hz capabilities and Vision Booster is also among the most beloved Galaxy S23 features. That, and the streamlined design across the flagship series, along with the inclusion of the S Pen for the Galaxy S23 Ultra.

And last but certainly not least, people are convinced that One UI 5.1 offers one of the best experiences yet. The software on the Galaxy S23 series is highly optimized, it's snappy with smooth animations, and it's chock-full of useful and clever features, new and old alike. Samsung DeX works like a charm on the Galaxy S23, and the latest multitasking refinements go a long way.
