You can now buy a used Galaxy S26 from Samsung for a lower price

Samsung's Certified Re-Newed program is growing in the United States with the addition of the Galaxy S26 series. Samsung made the official announcement today and welcomed the flagship trio to the Certified Re-Newed store.

Each phone is available in the original six color options. However, as of this writing, the S26+ is missing from the Certified Re-Newed store. It should be added any moment now or may already be live when you read this.

If you're new to the Certified Re-Newed concept, these are used Galaxy devices that Samsung reconditioned using 100% genuine parts. They are sold for lower prices than the brand-new ones.

Unlike other used phones third parties might sell, Samsung's Certified Re-Newed devices come with all-new batteries and a one-year limited warranty. They are used but thoroughly reconditioned and pass a rigorous 147-point inspection before they're ready for resale.

Certified Re-Newed phones ship with the latest firmware available and are factory reset. After unboxing, the initial setup is identical to a brand-new phone's.

Another perk is that Certified Re-Newed devices are eligible for Samsung Care+ with Theft and Loss. You can subscribe to Care+ for a fee and enjoy protection against accidents, breaks, or other damage, including unlimited battery repairs and $0 cracked screen and back panel repairs.

Furthermore, because Certified Re-Newed phones are sold directly through the usual Samsung online shop, you can lower the prices further through a trade-in. You can exchange your old phone for a discount on one of the Galaxy S26 Re-Newed Certified flagships.

Of course, if you want to buy new, you still can. The Galaxy S26, S26+, and S26 Ultra are still available brand-new at Samsung's online store for the usual starting prices: $899, $1,099, and $1,299.

Samsung's Certified Re-Newed program is also live in select European countries and in India. The S26 series may join the Certified Re-Newed lineup in those other regions soon.
