One of the best and most popular messaging apps worldwide, WhatsApp, is all set to gain some new features in the coming days. A few weeks ago, we reported that WhatsApp is working on a new design for the context menu. Later, some days ago, it was reported that WhatsApp would soon bring screen sharing to Android phones.

Now, WhatsApp is all set to gain some more cosmetic changes. According to the latest report, WhatsApp is finally getting the Material You Design toggles. WhatsApp is among some apps that still lack prominent Material You Design elements. Thankfully, that is going to change soon as the messaging app is slowly getting the Material You Design makeover.

WhatsApp's Material You toggles aren't available to even beta testers yet

According to WABetaInfo, the latest Android beta v2.23.10.6 gives us our first look at the new Material You toggles for WhatsApp. Though not a big deal, these new Material You Design toggles look great and give WhatsApp much-needed modern appeal. Do note that the feature isn't even available to beta testers yet. However, the new WhatsApp Material You Design toggles will appear in a future update.

When the toggle is turned off, the switch shows a light-gray indicator and outline. On the other hand, when the toggle is on, the outline disappears, and the toggle is filled with WhatsApp's signature green color, while the toggle itself turns dark gray. It could vary if you have turned on the light mode. Again, the new toggle for WhatsApp isn't available to anyone at the moment, but it will arrive with a future update.

WhatsApp will finally let you select HD as default image resolution

WhatsApp compresses all the images and videos unless you share them as documents.
