The 30-second video showcases a few of the best Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 features. First, it confirms that the two foldables are water resistant. Both devices are expected to feature IPx8 certification, which means they will be able to withstand submersion in freshwater up to a maximum depth of 1.5 meters for 30 minutes. That's the same degree of protection Samsung's non-folding flagships have been offering for many years.
Second, the teaser confirms that the Galaxy Z Fold 3 supports the S Pen. It's the second phone from Samsung that isn't a Note to support the S Pen – the first was the Galaxy S21 Ultra that launched earlier this year. We also get to see the Galaxy Z Flip 3's larger cover screen. It's said to measure 1.9 inches, while the cover display on the original Galaxy Z Flip was a measly 1.1 inches. Not a huge upgrade, but certainly a welcome one that customers will appreciate.
Are you excited about the Galaxy Z Fold 3 or Galaxy Z Flip 3? Which of the two do you have your eyes on? Will you also be picking up the Galaxy Watch 4 or Galaxy Buds 2 that will launch alongside Samsung's new foldables?
Update: It turns out the leaked video was actually published by Samsung Malaysia's official Twitter account before it was taken down. However, one Reddit user managed to save it, and you can watch it here.
