Samsung's first clamshell-style foldable smartphone has started getting a new software update on all the US carrier networks, including AT&T, Comcast, C-Spire, Sprint, T-Mobile, Verizon, and Xfinity Mobile. The update carries firmware version F700U1TBU4EUH6 and includes the August 2021 security patch that fixes more than 40 privacy and security-related vulnerabilities.
The update might also include One UI 3.1.1 enhancements like a Bedtime Mode quick setting toggle, improved Flex Mode features, faster pop-up menus, and a more responsive camera app. Bug fixes and device stability improvements are also a part of this update.
If you are a Galaxy Z Flip user on any of the networks mentioned above, you might have received a notification of the new update. If you haven't, you can check for the update manually by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping on Download and install. You can also download the latest firmware file from our database and flash it manually.
