Strap yourselves in, folks! We have a highly speculative Samsung story floating around the so-called “mobile blogosphere” concerning foldable display creases. Grab a proverbial pinch of salt and proceed with caution, if you will.

The story revolves around a close-up photo of what's described as a display crease. But, here's the thing. There's no detailed description alongside the photo, and there's no mention of Samsung's upcoming foldable phones in the original post.

Nevertheless, the image originates from the same Twitter user who recently suggested that the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 will have less prominent foldable display creases. And with that, there has been some ambitious reporting suggesting that the crease in this new photo is representative of Samsung's upcoming foldable phones.

That seems as possible as pigs flying, but ultimately, we can't know for sure. Maybe it really is a Samsung leak that follows a consistent string of rumors. It could be our first look at the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 4 / Galaxy Z Flip 4 display crease, and perhaps more similar leaks will follow soon. Or the image could depict a Chinese foldable phone display crease, for all we know.
