After beta-testing One UI 8.5 for its high-end tablets, Samsung has released the stable One UI 8.5 software update for the Galaxy Tab S10 series. Both tablets in this lineup have started getting the update in South Korea, and the update is expected to expand to more countries and regions in the next few days.
The stable One UI 8.5 update, based on Android 16, is now available for the Galaxy Tab S10+ and the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra. The Wi-Fi-only version of the Galaxy Tab S10+ is getting the update bearing firmware version X820XXU7DZE3, while its Wi-Fi + Cellular version has received the update with firmware version X826NKOU7DZE3. It has a download size of over 4GB (under 500MB for beta-testers).
If you have any of these high-end tablets, check for the new update on your device by heading over to Settings > Software update and tapping Download and install. Once the update is fully downloaded from Samsung's server, tap the Install now button to start the installation process. It will take a few minutes before your phone is restarted and fully ready to use.
Samsung launched the Galaxy Tab S10 series in the second half of 2024 with Android 14 onboard. Since then, the company has released two major Android OS version udpates to those devices.
