Currently, Samsung’s Tizen OS is one of the best TV platforms in the market, offering a plethora of features, a modern-looking, neatly organized, and easy-to-use user interface, and super-fast performance. As such, when the South Korean tech giant opened up the OS for other manufacturers, many brands adopted it for their TVs. Now, another company is jumping on that bandwagon, Croma.
In partnership with Veira, Croma has launched three new TVs in India, a 43-inch model (CREL043UTC024601), a 50-inch model, and a 55-inch model. All three TVs feature Samsung’s Tizen OS. Thanks to it, they come with the Samsung TV Plus app which offers 120 live channels for free, allowing people to watch them without getting a DTH connection or paying for their subscription, and Samsung’s Bixby voice assistant.
These TVs feature an LCD panel with LED backlight, 4K resolution, 60Hz refresh rate, 300 nits brightness, and support for HDR10+ and HLG. As for sound, they have two 10W speakers in a stereo setup and support Dolby Audio. Connectivity options include dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, three HDMI ports, two USB ports, one optical audio out, and one RJ45 port. All TVs come with a 12-month warranty.

Crome has priced the 50-inch model at INR 25,490 and made it available to purchase on its website. Unfortunately, there's no information on the prices of the other two models yet. All three TVs should be available to purchase at all Croma stores across India. From what we could gather, these are the first non-Samsung TVs in India to feature Tizen OS, marking this launch an important achievement for the South Korean tech giant.
