Recent reports claimed that Samsung is working on a new pair of wireless earbuds, possibly called the Galaxy Buds Able. These earbuds are expected to be quite different from previous Galaxy Buds models. Now, their design has been revealed, but there is an important detail you should know.

Galaxy Buds Able have been delayed multiple times

A Samsung device with model number SM-U600 was recently spotted, and references in the Galaxy Wearable app suggest it could be called Galaxy Buds Able. Now, we've spotted their design in One UI 9. The earbuds appear to feature a clip-on hook design, along with a grille covering the microphone. The image was reportedly found in the latest One UI firmware.

Our sources indicate that the Galaxy Buds Able are indeed a real product and not just a concept. However, they have reportedly been delayed multiple times and are not expected to launch at the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event in July 2026. If you were planning to wait for them, you may need to hold off a bit longer.

For reference, most clip-on wireless earbuds look like the once visible below.

The Galaxy Buds Able appear similar to other clip-on style earbuds available in the market, such as the Bose Ultra Open Earbuds, Motorola Moto Buds Loop, and Sony LinkBuds Clips. Many of these products use bone conduction technology instead of traditional drivers. The Galaxy Buds Able could use a similar approach, transmitting sound vibrations through the cheekbones directly to the cochlea while bypassing the eardrum.
