Last month, Samsung released One UI 8.5 for the Galaxy A07, one of the brand’s most affordable phones eligible to get the update. Now, the company seems to have started developing its latest Android customisation for Galaxy smartphones, One UI 9.0, for the phone.
On Samsung’s server, a firmware file for the Galaxy A07 featuring One UI 9.0 has been spotted. It suggests that the brand has started testing the new software for the phone. It carries firmware version A075FXXU5DZF7 (via Fahad Ali Javed and Mohammed Khatri).
While One UI 8.5 is based on Android 16 QPR2, One UI 9.0 is based on Android 17. Along with the upgrades that the new version of the operating system offers, Samsung has packed the new software with more user interface customisation options and features over the current one.
Samsung unveiled One UI 9.0 last month and released its beta version for the Galaxy S26 series. The brand is expected to debut its stable version next month with its next lineup of flagship foldable phones. Soon after that, the brand may start rolling it out to older eligible devices.
