After the Galaxy A17, Samsung has released the One UI 8.5 update for its most affordable 5G smartphone, the Galaxy A07 5G. The entry-level phone has started receiving the latest One UI update in several Asian countries and could get the update in additional regions over the next few days.
The One UI 8.5 update for the Galaxy A07 5G comes with firmware version A076BXXU3BZE3. It is currently available in Malaysia, the Philippines, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam, and has a download size of more than 3GB. The update also includes the May 2026 security patch.
If you own a Galaxy A07 5G in any of the countries mentioned above, you can install the new update by heading to Settings > Software update and tapping Download and install. Once all the required files are downloaded from Samsung’s servers, tap Install now to begin the installation process.
Your phone will restart during the installation, which should take a few minutes to complete.
The update introduces a slightly refreshed UI design language, improved stock One UI apps, a fully customizable Quick Panel, new downloadable wallpapers, expanded lock screen clock font customization options, automatic lock screen layouts, Direct Voicemail, and a redesigned battery section within Device Care.
One UI 8.5 lets you temporarily disable Auto Blocker (for 30 minutes) and offers Theft Protection. It lets you set early alerts for reminders and insert tables in Samsung Notes. Samsung Internet has an improved New Tab page, while Calculator offers proactive suggestions by understanding data from the clipboard.
