Samsung Wallet is now compatible with a lot more German bank cards

Samsung Wallet now supports credit and debit cards from more than 600 cooperative banks in Germany through a partnership with DZ Bank.

Galaxy phone and watch users can add these cards to Samsung Wallet and make contactless payments wherever contactless cards are accepted.

Samsung is also offering a prize draw for users who add eligible cards and register online by December 31, 2026.

Samsung has partnered with DZ Bank, which represents the Cooperative Financial Group (GFG) in Germany, to bring Samsung Wallet compatibility to millions of Galaxy phone and watch users.

Through this partnership, credit and debit cards issued by over 600 cooperative banks in Germany—including DZ BANK, PSD Banks, Sparda-Banken, and Volksbanken Raiffeisenbanken—can be added to the Samsung Wallet app on Galaxy phones and Galaxy Watches. Users can then make contactless mobile payments with these devices wherever contactless cards are accepted.

This expansion ensures that millions more Galaxy users can easily make mobile payments.

To celebrate the collaboration, Samsung is running a promotional offer. Customers who add their eligible bank cards to Samsung Wallet and register online by December 31, 2026, can enter a prize draw to win one of four €2,500 vouchers for the Samsung online shop.

In addition to credit and debit cards, Samsung Wallet can store boarding passes, digital keys for homes and vehicles, gift cards, passwords, passkeys, loyalty cards, and more.
