Yesterday, Samsung unveiled its latest flagship foldable smartphones, Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, Galaxy Z Fold 8, and Galaxy Z Flip 8. While the brand is busy promoting the new devices, it hasn't slowed down software support for older Galaxy phones.

Samsung has started rolling out a new software update for the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra. It brings the July 2026 security patch, which fixes 57 security vulnerabilities, and is currently available in the company's home market, South Korea.

The update for the Galaxy S23+ is 406.60MB in size and carries firmware version S916NKSS8FZG1 (via Tarun Vats). The Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23 Ultra are expected to receive similarly sized updates with firmware versions S911NKSS8FZG1 and S918NKSS8FZG1, respectively.

To install the update, head to Settings > Software update > Check for updates on your phone.
