Samsung UK has launched a bold new limited-time discount for the Galaxy S25 Ultra – one that might put a damper on Galaxy S25 Edge sales for a while. The company is now selling the superior Ultra model for ultra-thin Edge money.

You could say that this new deal upsets the hierarchy of the Galaxy S series, but in the end, it doesn't matter as long as prospective buyers benefit. And they can. For £1,099, the Galaxy S25 Ultra is now looking better than ever.

In essence, Samsung UK is cutting £150 off the Galaxy S25 Ultra for a limited time. As such, the 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB S25 Ultra variants now cost £1,099, £1,199, and £1,399, respectively.

Needless to say, the 256GB Galaxy S25 Ultra and S25 Edge cost the same. However, the ultra-thin smartphone has an ace up its sleeve in the form of a free memory upgrade to 512GB.

Even so, the 256GB Galaxy S25 Ultra arguably looks like the better option than the 512GB S25 Edge, thanks to these limited-time discounts.

If you want the Galaxy S25 Ultra, you can also save at least £200 when you trade in any other Android phone, even if it's broken or has a cracked screen. This enhanced trade offer is valid until July 1.

The Galaxy S25 Ultra may not be as thin as the Edge, but both phones have titanium frames. Furthermore, the S25 Ultra boasts a much more powerful camera setup, an anti-reflective screen treatment, superior battery life, and the S Pen.
