Samsung found an interesting way to mark the UK release of the rugged Galaxy XCover 7 Pro smartphone and Galaxy Tab Active 5 Pro tablet. The company commissioned a study to find out which jobs are the toughest according to Brits.

The results, obtained through a poll of 2,000 participants, were published by Samsung UK in a Top 20 list, which you can find below. According to the data, the key challenges that defined the toughest jobs were working in extreme environments and hazardous conditions.

90% of Brits also believe that tech designed to withstand rough conditions is vital for the toughest jobs. This, of course, is where the Galaxy XCover 7 Pro and the Galaxy Tab Active 5 Pro Enterprise Edition come into play.

These rugged Samsung Galaxy devices boast water resistance, removable batteries, long battery life, military-grade durability, Samsung Knox security, and push-to-talk functionality.

As for the UK's Top 20 toughest jobs, here they are, according to this study.

The Galaxy XCover 7 Pro and the Galaxy Tab Active 5 Pro Enterprise Edition are available through Samsung's business portal for £559 and £769, respectively.

These devices benefit from a three-year warranty, up to eight years of security updates, and support for eight major OS upgrades. They ship with Android 15 and One UI 7, which means they will technically be updated up to Android 23 (tentative name).
