Samsung Neo QLED TVs have bagged multiple awards in the UK Consumer Media Accessibility Assessment. Notably, Samsung TV was awarded the ‘Best Accessibility Product Award by a British non-profit consumer federation magazine, ‘Which'. Another organization called ‘Location' awarded the Samsung Neo QLED (QE65QN85B) and OLED (QE55S95B) TVs the first and second prizes, respectively.

The prizes were based on factors such as picture quality, sound quality, and accessibility in cooperation with the Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB). Both products were well received and were found to be appropriate for people with low vision. Adding to this, ‘Location' said that Samsung TV is the only brand among the evaluated brands to support the partial screen enlargement function.

Samsung has bagged the British Royal Vision Award for the second time in a row

These awards add credibility to Samsung's efforts to implement better accessibility features in their TVs, making them useful for everyone, even people with low vision. Moreover, Samsung has been collaborating with the British Royal Society for the Blind since 2013 on the ‘Screens for All' agenda.

According to the official post, Samsung TVs received the British Royal Vision Award for the second time in a row. Samsung has recently acquired accessibility certification for the visually impaired from the ‘Association for the Disabled'. Furthermore, it added the ‘SeeColors Mode' for color-blind people as a new accessibility feature in its 2023 TV lineup.

This new mode allows color-blind people to adjust the colors of the TV in such a manner that the objects on the screen can be better distinguished. Also, with the ‘Relumino Mode‘, users can tweak the contrast, color, and sharpness so that people with low vision can distinguish TV images more easily.
