Yesterday, we reported that Samsung is planning to re-launch the Galaxy S21 FE 5G in India, and this time, it will bring the Snapdragon 888 version of the phone. Now, we have information about its possible pricing as well.

According to a new report from 91Mobiles, the Snapdragon 888 variant of the Galaxy S21 FE 5G will be priced at INR 49,999 (around $609) in India. The price is for the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant of the smartphone. In comparison, the Galaxy S21 FE 5G with the Exynos 2100 chipset was launched in the country at INR 54,999 ($669), but it is now being sold for INR 33,000 (around $400). The Snapdragon 888-powered variant of the Galaxy S21 FE 5G carries model number SM-G990B4, which is different from that of the Exynos 2100-powered model (SM-G990B2).

Apart from a different chipset, the rest of the specifications of the Snapdragon 888-powered Galaxy S21 FE 5G will be the same as the Exynos 2100-powered variant. That includes a 6.4-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, a triple camera setup at the rear with a 12MP primary sensor, a 12MP ultrawide unit, and an 8MP telephoto lens. It will also have a 4,500mAh battery with 25W wired charging and 15W wireless charting, IP68 rating for dust and water resistance, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.0, and of course, 5G connectivity.

According to yesterday’s leak, the Galaxy S21 FE 5G with the Snapdragon 888 chipset will be available in the Indian market in Navy Blue color. However, Samsung could also launch other colors later. The phone will get the same number of software updates as the Exynos 2100 variant. This version of the phone was originally launched in the US in early 2022.
