Samsung's The Frame TV is a breath of fresh air in a sea of flat black slabs. Its photo frame-like design looks pretty different and elevates the look of the whole room. You can even display your favorite memories or art pieces on the TV when it's not being actively used.

The company's Art Store, which gives you access to popular art pieces and paintings, now has a collection of some more iconic moments from history. Samsung has partnered with LIFE Picture Collection to bring a visual archive of the 20th century. From the latter's collection of 10 million photographs, Samsung has carefully chosen 20 photos, including subjects ranging from West Coast California surfers to Pablo Picasso.

Samsung will continue to add more photographs from LIFE Picture Collection to the Art Store, which now has over 2,000 pieces of art, graphics, paintings, and pictures. Over the past five years since The Frame TV's launch, the South Korean firm has partnered with various artists and museums to bring a massive art collection for owners of The Frame and other lifestyle TVs.

It runs Tizen OS and has access to all the audio and video streaming apps. It also features Alexa, Bixby, and Google Assistant. It also features Samsung TV Plus and Google Duo video calling.

The TV is quite clever and turns on the screen when you enter the room. When you leave the room, the display turns off. It even features adaptive brightness and volume to counter changing light and noise in the room. You can place the TV on the table, wall, or floor (using a unique stand).

Its frame can be customized to match your home's interior design. You can even use the official rotating frame to rotate the TV and use it in portrait mode.
