Samsung has released One UI 6.1 to almost all eligible phones and tablets. With that, the company has started shifting its focus towards the development of One UI 6.1.1, which will have new features and will be available only for foldable devices. Yesterday, we learned that Samsung has started testing One UI 6.1.1 for the Galaxy Z Fold 5. Now, it appears that the brand has started testing One UI 6.1.1 for the Galaxy Z Flip 5 as well.
New firmware for the Galaxy Z Flip 5 with One UI 6.1.1, carrying version F731BXXU2DXF1, has been spotted on Samsung’s server (via Tarun Vats).
Samsung could test multiple versions of One UI 6.1.1 for the Galaxy Z Flip 5 before releasing a beta version of it to the smartphone. So, it might take at least a couple of weeks for Samsung to release the beta version of the new software to the Galaxy Z Flip 5. The stable version of One UI 6.1.1 should arrive around the launch of the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and the Galaxy Z Flip 6, which is going to take place at Galaxy Unpacked on 10 July 2024.

At the moment, there’s no information on which new features One UI 6.1.1 will bring. Hopefully, we will know those details as its release gets closer.
