Samsung showcases nature-related artwork, NFTs on 8K Neo QLED TVs in Korea

Last updated: July 5th, 2022 at 08:16 UTC+02:00

Samsung has started showcasing the brilliance of its 8K Neo QLED TVs in South Korea through nature-related artwork and NFTs. The company said it is holding the Neo QLED 8K Big Picture in FOR:REST event across its home country from July 4 to August 31.

The company will showcase artwork from famous artists worldwide at 70 Samsung Digital Plaza stores. Samsung had set up a similar showcase at COEX 2022 in April. A total of 15 artists, including experimental artist Han Ho, Keun Joong Kim of ‘Natural Being’ fame, Yoo-Jin, who conveys a message of peace and love, and Lim Chae-wook, who uniquely showcases Korean mountains, will showcase a total of 18 artworks.

Thanks to Mini-LED technology, Samsung’s 8K Neo QLED TVs offer incredibly high resolution, superb contrast, 100% color volume, and high brightness. And that’s great for showcasing artworks and NFTs.
