It's probably safe to say that everyone remembers the Galaxy Note smartphone series, even if the last model ever released went on sale almost four years ago in August 2020. Samsung hasn't forgotten about it either, but the company just wrote a press release about the reasons why you should forget about the Galaxy Note 20 and replace it with a new Galaxy S24 Ultra.

The spirit of the Galaxy Note series lives on through Galaxy S Ultra flagships, and Samsung isn't shying away from pointing that out. It wants you to embrace that fact and lay the Note to rest.

The company is trying to get the last remaining Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra users to abandon their Notes and hop on the Galaxy S Ultra bandwagon. Samsung offers five reasons why the Galaxy S24 Ultra is a better Note device, even if it's in disguise. Here they are.

Biggest reasons why you should upgrade, according to Samsung

The Korean tech giant believes that the Galaxy S24 Ultra is a better Note for several reasons. The first is a better S Pen experience coupled with an improved display.

This combo offers a 68% latency reduction compared to the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra. That's a lot! Besides, the Galaxy S24 Ultra has a much brighter 2,600 nits screen with Vision Booster, plus a flat design that works way better with the S Pen.

A more clever Samsung Notes app and other AI tools

The new Galaxy S24 series running One UI 6.1 boasts an improved Samsung Notes app, which is now enhanced by the AI-powered Note Assist tool.

With it, you can summarize, auto-format, translate, and proofread documents and texts with ease.

In addition, the Galaxy S24 Ultra comes with exclusive AI features like Circle to Search, Live Translate, Chat Assist, and Transcript Assist, all of which can help productivity.

None of these features will ever come to the Galaxy Note 20 series, as it is no longer supported with new One UI updates.

    More power and better cameras

Finally, Samsung believes that you should upgrade from the Galaxy Note 20 or Note 20 Ultra to the latest Galaxy S24 Ultra if you care about performance and camera improvements.

First things first, the Galaxy S24 Ultra boasts a more powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, which is better-cooled and offers greatly improved performance in mobile games and ray-traced graphics.

As for the camera, the Galaxy S24 Ultra boasts improved zoom thanks to the new 50MP 5X camera, plus it prides itself on better Nightography.

The cherry on top is the Gallery app's new tool called Generative Edit, which can be really useful and almost magical when it works to the best of its abilities.
