The Galaxy Buds Pro earbuds are getting firmware version R190XXU0AVD1. The update weighs around 2.2MB, and the changelog mentions an improved algorithm for battery charging and stability, along with the usual improvements to system stability and reliability.
You can download the latest update for the Galaxy Buds Pro from the Galaxy Wearable app on your phone or tablet. Speaking of the latter app, Samsung also released a new Galaxy Wearable version via the Galaxy Store, which should bring a bit of peace of mind to earbuds and smartwatch users.
The new Galaxy Wearable version (2.2.48.22033061) is now available for download from the Galaxy Store. Although the UI remains unchanged and no new audio or smartwatch-related features were added with this new release, the latest version does bring a convenient auto-update option.
So, with version 2.2.48.22033061, Galaxy Wearable users can set the app to update automatically using Wi-Fi only or Wi-Fi and/or mobile data. To do this: open the Wearable app, then tap the hamburger menu and access “About Galaxy Wearable.”
With this new option enabled, you can rest easy knowing that your Galaxy device will run the latest-available Galaxy Wearable app at any given time. The downside, however, is that you may miss out on changelogs here and there. But as usual, we'll keep you posted.
