A few days ago, Samsung reduced the prices of the Galaxy S25 lineup in India. Considering rising memory chip costs, the move was unexpected and made the devices more appealing to buyers who couldn’t afford the Galaxy S26 series or felt it didn’t offer significant upgrades. However, Samsung has now reversed course.

The company has not only rolled back the price cuts on the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25 Ultra, and Galaxy S25 FE, but has also increased the prices of some variants beyond their original launch levels. You can check the earlier and revised prices of these devices, as stated on the brand’s website, below.

Galaxy S25

  • 12GB + 128GB – INR 56,999 >> INR 74,999
  • 12GB + 256GB – INR 62,999 >> INR 84,999
  • 12GB + 512GB – INR 77,999  >> INR 104,999

Galaxy S25 Ultra

  • 12GB + 256GB – INR 74,999 >> INR 56,999
  • 12GB + 512GB – INR 80,999 >> INR 62,999
  • 12GB + 1TB – INR 92,999 >> INR 77,999

Galaxy S25 FE

  • 8GB + 128GB – INR 56,999 >> INR 59,999
  • 8GB + 256GB – INR 62,999 >> INR 69,999

At the moment, there is no information about why Samsung made the decision that may disappoint people, lower its sales, and affect its revenue and profits. We assume that it may be due to rising memory chip prices. The brand may have also taken this step to make the Galaxy S26 series look like a better buy and boost its sales.
