Samsung, after offering the stable version of One UI 8.5 for the Galaxy A54 and the Galaxy M54, has now released the new software for the Galaxy F54.
The brand is rolling out the update in India. It is 2,941.41MB in size and carries firmware version E546BXXUCFZE5 (via Samsung Community).
The latest update for the Galaxy F54 also brings the May 2026 security patch, which fixes 36 security issues present in the previous version of the OS, making the phone more secure than before. To get it, go to Settings > Software update > Download and install.
One UI 8.5 brings visual changes and new features. As for the former, you get a transparent blur effect for many UI elements, a floating design for the bottom bar in first-party apps, and many other small changes that make it look cleaner and more sophisticated than before.
As for the new features, you get a ton. A few noteworthy ones include support for Apple AirDrop, partial screen recording, direct voicemail, enhanced theft protection, improved battery management, a more customisable Quick Settings panel, and new camera filters.
