Samsung Malaysia reveals One UI 5.0 release timeline for Galaxy phones and tablets

The Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and Galaxy S22 Ultra were the first Samsung phones to get the stable Android 13 update. The device received the update two weeks ago. A few days later, Samsung revealed when it plans to release the Android 13 (One UI 5.0) update to other smartphones and tablets in Germany and South Korea.

Now, Samsung has released the Android 13 update timeline for the Malaysian market. The company will release the One UI 5.0 update to the Galaxy S22 series this month. Most other high-end smartphones, including the ones in the Galaxy Z Flip and the Galaxy Z Fold lineup, will get the Android 13 update in December 2022. Some mid-range phones in the Galaxy A and Galaxy M series will get the update in December as well.

The Galaxy Tab S7 and the Galaxy Tab S8 series will also get the stable Android 13 update in December. Lower-end Galaxy A, Galaxy M, Galaxy Xcover, and Galaxy Tab A series devices will get the One UI 5.0 update in January 2023. The remaining lower-end phones and tablets will get the update by April 2023.
