So, what are we looking at? The Galaxy A25 5G in these renders (via Giznext / @OnLeaks) looks very much like the Galaxy A24. The phone has a flat display with an Infinity-U notch and a thick bezel at the bottom, three cameras residing on a flat back panel in circular, independent cutouts, and a slightly curved but almost flat frame. You can check out the screenshots and 360-degree video below for a closer look.
As far as dimensions go, the Galaxy A25 5G is almost identical to the 2023 model and clocks in at 162 x 77.5 x 8.3mm. There isn't a lot that can differentiate the ongoing model from the sequel, and Samsung followed a similar design philosophy with some of its recent flagships, i.e., if it ain't broke, don't fix it.
Although the phone's design appears to have been revealed in full, internal specifications remain a bit of a mystery. The Galaxy A25 might have a 5,000mAh battery with 25W charging, just like the A24, but this is speculation.
Given the phone's dimensions, the size of the screen is the only specification that has some certainty to it. Sources say the Galaxy A25 5G has a 6.44-inch panel that may or may not be of the LCD variety.
Oddly, the source also speculates that Samsung might release the Galaxy A25 5G “later this year,” whereas the Galaxy A24 was released in May 2023. Again, take this information with a pinch of salt.
For now, Samsung is busy preparing the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Z Flip 5 for release next month, and the company is also giving signs of wanting to launch the Galaxy S23 FE, the latter of which also leaked in renders not long ago. Whether the Galaxy A25 5G will make it to the market before the end of the year is to be determined.
