A year after its debut, the South Korean firm is bringing US presidential election content and soccer news to its news app. You can now install the new update from the Galaxy Store.

Samsung News, which is used by millions of Galaxy smartphone and tablet users, is getting a lot more content and news sources.

To keep up with the upcoming US Presidential Election, the app is getting a dedicated tab for content and important dates related to the election. The app has up-to-date coverage of the election from trusted news sources. It also gets a list of important dates for things like party conventions, key debates, and upcoming events. Candidate profiles and presidential poll results are updated in real time.

For soccer fans in the US, Samsung News now brings LALIGA EA Sports-related news stories. Users can follow their favorite players and teams, and the app will source related content about those topics.

In addition to LALIGA, Samsung News will get content from CNBC, Yahoo Sports, and other sports content partners. More news partners for breaking, local, and trending news stories are also being added.
