Samsung is augmenting its soundbar lineup in the USA with a handful of models that were originally announced earlier this year at CES in Las Vegas. And thanks to an ongoing Memorial Day deal, these new Samsung soundbars are also available at discount prices.

The company is adding the HW-Q990C, HW-Q900C, HW-Q800C, and HW-Q700C to the existing lineup. The HW-Q990C is the top-of-the-line, boasting an 11.1.4 channel setup and Dolby ATMOS. It costs $1,899, but thanks to an ongoing deal, customers can get it for $1,599.

Samsung also announced the HW-Q900C today, which has a 7.1.2 channel setup and true, wireless Dolby Atmos. Samsung also says that, ike the Q990C, the Q900C is built with SpaceFit Sound Pro. This technology allows the soundbar to automatically optimize audio based on your available space. However, as of this writing, the HW-Q900C is not listed on the online store but should be soon.

Similarly, Samsung says the HW-Q800C “can quickly adapt its sound profile to any room.” It has a 5.2.1. Dolby Atmos setup and built-in voice assistants. This model costs $799, down from $999.

And lastly, the HW-Q700C is also among the latest additions to the Samsung Q-Symphony-lineups in the USA. With a 3.1.2 channel setup, Wireless Dolby ATMOS, and SpaceFit Sound Pro, this model costs $699 but is presently discounted to $619.

Samsung’s product naming has a grammar problem

I'm a big fan of Samsung using proper nouns to label most of its home electronics. For instance, PC monitors names are no longer just a string of seemingly random letters and numbers. Instead, they belong to lineups named ‘Odyssey' or ‘ViewFinity.' It makes Samsung look better instead of coming across as a company that […]
