Samsung launched its first and latest XR headset, the Galaxy XR, last year. So far, the brand has made it available to purchase in only two markets, its home country, South Korea, and the US. Earlier this year, we learned that the company could bring it to four more countries: Canada, France, Germany, and the UK. Just like we reported, Samsung has brought the Galaxy XR to the UK.
Samsung has priced the Galaxy XR at £1,699 in the UK and has started taking pre-orders for it. The brand will start shipping it on July 8, 2026. It comes in a single color option: Silver Shadow. The company has priced the Galaxy XR Travel Case and Galaxy XR Controllers at £249 each. In addition, the tech giant is offering a few promotional offers, including discounts on the headset and the controllers.
Given the niche nature of XR headsets, Samsung may be bringing the Galaxy XR to the UK in limited quantities. As a result, stock could run out quickly, so interested buyers may want to place their orders sooner rather than later.
Recently, Samsung released an update for the Galaxy XR that fixes severe frame drops and stuttering introduced by a previous software update. The company also unveiled its smart glasses last month and is expected to make them available for purchase in the coming months.
