The Galaxy XR headset landed in the UK earlier this week, and if you've been thinking about jumping into Samsung's new XR ecosystem, there are already a few ways to cut the cost and score some valuable extras.
Samsung's new headset starts at £1,699, but you can instantly save £100 when paying through PayPal and using the promo code PAYPALXR at checkout. This offer is available until July 7.
The savings don't stop there. Galaxy XR buyers can also redeem Samsung's Explorer Pack, which the company values at £665. The bundle includes premium access to several services, including YouTube Premium, Google AI Pro, Project Pulsar, Google Play Pass, Calm Premium, and a free copy of StatusPro NFL PRO ERA.
The Explorer Pack can be redeemed until December 16, giving early adopters plenty of time to claim the included perks.
If you're planning to build out your XR setup, Samsung is offering 30% discounts on Galaxy XR controllers and the official travel case when purchased alongside the headset. This accessory promotion runs through September 30.
There are also additional bundle savings available across Samsung's wider Galaxy ecosystem. Customers who buy a Galaxy XR headset together with a Galaxy smartphone can get an extra 10% off the headset. Conversely, Samsung is offering 10% discounts on eligible Galaxy wearables when purchased with the XR device.
Combined with the PayPal discount and bundle offers, the current pre-order period is the best opportunity yet for UK buyers to lower the cost of Samsung's first XR headset and pick up a few extras in the process.
The headset is scheduled to exit the pre-order period and start shipping to early buyers on July 8.
