Samsung’s Galaxy Watch models can track many aspects of your health and fitness. One of them is your sleep. These wearables can not only track how much you sleep and various stages of your sleep, but they can also detect snoring. Well, the brand is now upgrading the snoring detection algorithm.
Samsung is rolling out an update to the Samsung Health app for Galaxy phones. It carries version 6.31, and according to the company, it offers an updated snoring detection algorithm (via @theonecid). With that, the app should be able to provide you with more accurate snoring detection. However, there's a catch.
After updating the Samsung Health app to the latest version, you will not be able to playback previous snoring recordings, as the data will be reset. However, you will be able to playback snoring recordings that were recorded after updating the app.
To update Samsung Health, go to the Galaxy Store, tap on the hamburger menu icon in the top-left corner of the screen, select Updates, and tap on the update icon beside Samsung Health or on the Update all button in the top-right corner of the display.
