Samsung launches Galaxy Watch 4 Golf Edition in South Korea

After launching the Galaxy Watch 4 and the Galaxy Watch 4 Classic last month, Samsung has unveiled the Galaxy Watch 4 Golf Edition. This special version of the smartwatch is made for professional and enthusiast golfers. The Galaxy Watch 4 Golf Edition is available in South Korea.

The Galaxy Watch 4 Golf Edition comes pre-loaded with the Smart Caddie app that measures and displays performance metrics to golf players. These metrics include shot distance, power, elevation, and distance to the green from their current location. The app comes pre-loaded with maps of over 40,000 golf courses worldwide, along with their actual measurements, aerial photos, satellite maps, and automatic hole information recognition.

The smartwatch comes in two versions: 40mm Silver and 44mm Black. The 40mm Silver version costs KRW 299,000 (around $256), while the 44mm Black version is priced at KRW 329,000 (around $281). The LTE version of the smartwatch will be launched later this year. South Korean consumers can buy the Galaxy Watch 4 Golf Edition from Samsung's website, Samsung Digital Plaza, Golping, and Golf Zone Market.

A Samsung Electronics official said, “With the Galaxy Watch 4 Golf Edition, which provides various convenient functions, consumers who love golf will be able to enjoy it more. We hope they enjoy the best golf with the smartwatch.
